Got Lollipop and lost Flashlight

Hey all,

I got the lollipop update this morning and overall i like it except i lost the included flashlight widget. I deleted and reinstalled the app from the update center and nothing. Any ideas?

I'm on the T-Mobile version if that helps any.

The stock flashlight app is for KitKat, actually Dalvik Runtime, and isn't compatible with Lollipop... You will need to find a new app/widget in the Play Store that you like to replace it.

My flashlight widget (stock?) works fine with Lollipop.

Lol... Doesn't work... But that got me to thinking, I browsed the /system/app directory and found a folder called LGFlashlightWidget with an APK inside of it, I installed it and now I have the old flashlight widget back!

Hi. I have the LG G3 Canadian version and didn't find it on the /system/app.
Is there an chance of you sharing your app?

Go to the LG update center app on the phone, it should be their for download it was for me.

Did you guys check in the widget menu? Cause flashlight is actually a widget not an actual "app"

Check your update in the Update Center→ App Updates.
I got it after update the App.
