Its the 1st gen. I dont think gen 2 has released yet and if rumors are correct it will have routing capabilities.

Anyone running 2 in their home? I got my wife one a few months ago and I'll be putting the promo one in my basement office. I heard you can add profiles for multiple users as well.

I use 2 and love it for music playback. They're also really good at distinguishing which ones closer so they don't both respond. You can add profiles but I haven't needed to yet.
