It was a painful experience getting my Moto X pure ordered. Never could get Moto care on the phone. A week ago it had no problem bringing up the Moto care purchase option. I even tried throwing a Moto 360 in the cart and it gave me the option to add Moto Care to it.I tried calling Motorola for help but after 20 minutes of waiting, I hung up. Tried the live chat and best I got from the Rep was there should be on option to add it.
I know I can add it later so that's what I am going to do. October 26th delivery date. The day my AT&T contract runs out. I just hope my Note II lasts till then. Today shut down twice and once I picked it up and all that was on the screen was some very tiny text...said something about bootloader. I pulled the battery and it came back alive. Amazing how even a well cared for phone seems to know when two years has passed and begins making arrangements for its death.

My experience was painful as well. I had to try 3 times to order my phone because when my browser crashed, not even my design was saved, and when I went to check and see if the plan was set up correctly, it sent me back to start.

Hehe, well great you got your order through and will join the gang. But don't worry, your phone will/should live until then :-)

Probably what happened was you or your case (if have) accidentally pressed on some of the physical buttons during a restart or while turning on your phone.
Seeing the bootloader screen under that circumstance is not to cause panic. The volume keys help navigate up/down and power button is used as enter key in bootloader.
It's basically similar to Bios or Dos loading before Windows on a pc.

Thanks...yeah I seemed remember that screen on a cold boot.
Motorola's moto maker site is real flakey. I think its getting hammered from traffic. Little things like, it wouldn't let me scroll through the accessory suggestions and when I loaded a moto 360 into the cart, the price showed N/A even though it was in stock. Then fixed itself on a page resend.

P.S. I held an IPhone 6 today. Already played with the 6 plus and was disappointed. The 6 minus was nicer but still kind of a lame. Advertising and hype is all it needs. My wife's made another comment today about her iPhone 5 when I told her my Note duece was failing and my ire of its two year lifespan. She said she didn't think her 5s would last more then a year before it would break. Then cried for her S4 that sits on her desk. I think she getting more and more Apple claustrophobic.
