Got my replacement folks!! lol

Ok folks I got my replacement Epic Touch today and i'm going to check it out to see how this one goes. If all of the problems are fixed then you won't hear much negativity from me anymore but if its not i'm back to bashing Samsung..lol..

My first observation while im at work where most of my signal issues were prominent I am noticeing that I get 3 bars constantly instead of 1 bar to no bars on my bad unit. Also while I was at the sprint store I check the display unit and it was getting full bars and my phone was getting 3 to 4 bars. I will report back as I do more testing and looking for the known flaws that other people are having.

I have model SPH - D710 what model do you guys have just curious?

I say run it stock for a little bit rather then rooting it and then complaining about something that might have been effected by root.

my Sprint Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch is freezing and force closing on alot of apps and will lock up....then other times the keyborad will be frozen on the home screen... have har and soft reset the phone 2 times and still have the same isssue.....help please

Mine did too so i got a replacement take it to sprint and tell them the problem but make sure u have no apps downloaded or they wilk give u an excuse. Good luck!

Ok guys I'm reporting back ..although my battery life is slightly better I still get the high Android OS percentage and my signal is till fairly weak in most places. It still takes longer than it should in a phone supposedly this fast to load a web page ..its just Sammy folks they make poor durable and bug free products

I don't know where in Houston you are, but reception on my ET4G is absolutely fine everywhere I have been. Even at my house in SL where I am in a fringe area I can hold a signal where I had trouble with the Evo. I do occasionally have the LOS issue, but it has only happened about three times. The browser on my phone is much faster than the browser on my Evo and as fast as the browser on my wife's iPhone 4 and for the most part, just as smooth. My phone is right now at 15 hours off the charger and the battery is still at 73%. That's with exchange active sync on push, wifi and Bluetooth on. I would agree that the build quality does not feel as good as, let's say, the iPhone or even the HTC Evo, but it's bigger than both of those weighs a lot less. I don't think it feels flimsy by any stretch of the imagination, and I personally like how light the phone is. I don't plan on needing it stop a bullet.

Why didn't you just go back to the Photon? It seemed like you had better experience with it.

dg wont be happy going back to Photon....he knows it.
Has anyone took the time to look at his post history?
Over 80% of his prior posting have been android smartphone rant nothing is good enough somethings always wrong its the end of the world.
The fix that dg needs is Iphone or wm , I'm betting for the same rant outcome though.
Some people will never be happy.

I do wish him luck though hope he finds what hes looking for.

mine had scratches on it so I think so. Its a hard ware issue you are having so if the dent is their excuse... Wow they would suck.lol
