Got My Replacement Today with 2.2

So I had the Reboot loop Problem with my stock updated 2.3 Evo. Then took it in last week. They Sent me a new one that I picked up Today. It came with 2.2 and i couldn't search for an update. Then i rebooted and low and behold it asks if i want to Update to 4.22???? Not 4.24 I didn't want to update it as i heard that the new patch was coming today. My question Is why did i get shipped with 2.2 and can only update to 4.22. I got a refurbished one... but its working great. So please let me know what i should to wait or update to 4.22?

You just got a refurbished phone that hasn't been updated. Its up to you if you want to update to gingerbread or not.
