Got my xoom!!!! Here is my take on the device (video)

My unboxing video. I was very excited (since I got it early) I rushed the video because I wanted to just play with the device.

Long story short I got LUCKY!!!!!! costco sold it to me, but at checkout it wouldn't ring out (since they arnt supposed to sell it yet) so a manager had to "force" a sale.

Did they waive the activation fee? What was the price?

They were selling for 789.99. Like what was stated I had to activate the device, The manager pretty much told me I could do two of one things. I could keep the xoom activated and they will send me a rebate in the amount for the activation, or I can cancel the service within 3 days and they activation fee will be dropped.

Just played with the TV hdmi out.... Works how it should, perfectly mirrors what you see on the screen in crystal clear view.

Everything you see on the tablet you see on the screen. Minus the very bottom menu "buttons".

Good question. I bought a cord for my Evo, but havent used it since because it is so limited. Hopefully that will work!

To be honest I've never seen the difference between mini or micro HDMI. It is about the same size (a little smaller) as the micro usb, so I would assume its a micro HDMI

It is a micro hdmi type D. Works very nicely. Quickly shows on the TV. Even in camera/video mode.

Thanks for info. I ordered a micro hdmi cable last night, but read on engadget and brg reviews tonight that it was a mini hdmi connection. Glad I don't have to cancel my order.
