... and really liked it.
A couple of random thoughts:
Overall, was just fun to use. I have no real urgency about 3D, and am bored with Sense, so I'm not thrilled by the new EVO. And I've used 4G a grand total of about 5 times in the past year. So unless I change my mind when I play with the Nexus S 4G, I think the Echo may be my next device when June rolls around.
A couple of random thoughts:
- Seems really well-built, and the hinge was pretty neat.
- I initially had concerns about the infamous "black line", but it really didn't bug me.
- I was also concerned that, while simultasking with video and text, you can't reply to texts without the keyboard appearing full-screen, obscuring the video. However, the video continues to play and you can hear the sound, so that seems to be much less disruptive for a quick text reply than the video stopping.
- No pinch to zoom - old school "+/-" buttons. Weird decision, but not a deal-breaker for me, as I typically double-tap to zoom.
