Hi guys, I'm an iPhone native, but took the fall for the HTC one, and I absolutely love it. However ehat I don't really love, is sense, and what with 4.4 coming up I really'd like to have my phone converted to gpe edition, with ota's. Unfortunately as u can provably guess I have no idea how to go about doing this, as all my friends are still currently iPhone lovers and such have no experience with it either. As such, I turn to u guys, any and all help'd be appreciated.

(In case it helps, my phone is from the carrier telus, and I've already unlocked my boot loader)

How to Convert Any HTC One into a Stock Google Play Edition with Bootloader, Recovery, & OTA Updates ? HTC One softModder
Good luck,

(ps. Im not responsible for anything)

I converted my DE One to GE with a ROM after coming from an iPhone 4S and have never Ben happier. Go for it.

My wife got the 5s and it's great, but I'd rather have my One.

i did the same thing converted my DE one to GPE.
I had an iphone 5S just for a week and just sent it back too many issues.
The only short come of the one is the camera the rest is just great and i am verry happy with it.

I have an HTC One that I converted from the stock AT&T variant to GPE. The phone is definitely responsive and the promise of quicker updates would keep me on that software but there is one feature that works better on stock Sense versus GPE, and that's the FM radio. I like to listen to talk radio at the office and since it doesn't suck data like a TuneIn radio would I can't see myself switching. I also have a subscription for Google Play Music that I see and yes, the 32GB internal gets used up quite a bit between music and the bloated Sense install. With GPE I had available space closer to that 32GB total.

I have a question. Can the Verizon Wireless model of the HTC One be converted to a Google Edition?

I have a stock Rogers One and am thinking of converting it to a GPE. I would only root it to get rid of bloatware.
