GPS Issue

I've noticed that the GPS in my U11 works great if I'm playing Ingress or Pokemon Go. However, if I'm using Google Maps, Android Auto or Torque OBDII scanner then GPS has issues. It will work fine for a long time then stop reporting my location & speed for a minute or so every 15 minutes or so. The only real differences I can think of are the apps being used and the fact that for the last three my phone is normally plugged in. Has anyone else noticed issues like this?

I was using it for navigation. I noticed it once i reach my destination and enter a new destination, Google maps would say offline and gps will not detetct location for a few minutes. Since then i returned the U11. Using this new U11 for navigation for a few days now and so far no issues.

The funny thing is, it didn't used to do it for me. Just started not to long ago

my problem is similar. Whenever my starting point is my location, google maps would say "can't connect to maps. try again in a few minutes". However, when i use a real starting point, it is fine. Idk why that is and it is very frustrating, especially when i'm somewhere where i don't have the exact starting point to input.
