GPS keeps turning off

[AC Question]

I have a Note 2 and a couple tracking apps that keep turning off, or GPS says its searching. My signal is very strong - anybody know what the deal is or a real time GPS app that works?

GPS Status and Toolbox helps a lot when having difficulty.
