I just bought my Asus Transformer Prime last 2 weeks. I have no issues at all except the GPS. I've read a lot of people can at least locked in a few satellites. But i couldn't lock even one satellite.
I tried many ways but to no success.

Is my device faulty? :(

I have the Prime and my wife has the 101. Neither have any issues. Both are great devices.

Sure. :-)

There were widespread issues with the GPS on the Prime that have been discussed for months. A lot of people claimed that there were wifi AND GPS issues on all Primes due to the metal backing, but it seems like wifi is fine for most people. GPS is another story though. Mine has never been able to get a GPS lock either. I never worried about it though. I knew the GPS capability was sketchy going into it, and I always have other methods of using GPS with me anyway (phone, car, etc).

Does anyone know of a case modification that would solve this problem? I could really utilize the GPS but i can't get a lock on a single satellite to save my life.

Prime, rooted, unlocked bootloader, .15

First, there is a firmware update coming on Friday...I'd wait and see what that update includes (although I don't expect anything in the GPS arena)
2) Go over to XDA and search....there are a couple of different threads that deal with GPS......In my opinion, the fixes work good when stationary.....but when moving, they are marginal.
3) Do like I do for navigation....Use an external GPS receiver.....If your family has both an IPad and the Prime, the DUAL GPS is a good option.....it will work in either platform

My GPS works!! :D
I flashed virtuous ROM and flashed this gps fix i found at xda.
I went outside and wait for a few minutes (probably 10mins).
Previously i just only waited for less than 5mins, maybe that's the reason i didn't get any fix. :p
