I am able to use bluetooth for phone calls but it doesn't work for GPS on my Toyota RAV4. What's wrong?

Does your car's Bluetooth support a2dp? If not you will only get voice over Bluetooth.

I believe the bluetooth in your car must support A2DP to hear the navigation. Not all bluetooth devices support this. Had a similar experience with a bluetooth headset that I was playing with - phone was fine, navigation didn't work.

Try going to settings-wireless-bluetooth settings. Then tap& hold the device. Select options. Make sure MEDIA is checked, as well as PHONE.

Thanks all.

Worwig,
Great point. Looks like my car doesn't support this feature. That feature wasn't available

Welcome to the suck. I use the old aux cable route. I only have regular Bluetooth too. Have to plug it in and everything. Life is so hard.

The same story here bro... When i had the Fascinate i had to unplug the aux every time a call came in, as voice would not go to Bluetooth with the aux plugged in.
