I would like to know if a wifi only model can used as an in car navigation device and will it give me voice turn by directions?

Yes it can and it will give turn by turn directions. You just need WiFi initially to set up your route. It caches the data to give you tbt directions even without WiFi.

Another vote for Sygic - a very good app I have on both my WiFi-only N7 and my Galaxy Note 4 for when a data signal is unavailable.

Does anyone here like it for use as I would be using it ?
