GPS shows wrong country

This only happens sometimes, but the location on my Edge S6 + shows that I'm in France when I'm in the UK. If I turn location off then back on it corrects the problem until if happens again, but last time it happened I had to restart the phone to correct it.

I've tried a factory reset and set my phone up without restoring backups, but makes no difference.

What seems strange is that it always defaults to France, you would think if the phone can't find my location it would show my last known location, so I'm thinking this phone was manufactured in France and the location has been hard encoded so when there is no location it defaults to France.

The other thing is if I go into S voice settings and press the home address button, the map always begins in France, but when the GPS is working and I tap the location icon it shows the correct position, not that I use S voice.

Since it only happens sometimes, trying to get a replacement could prove tricky. Any help would be appreciated.

Weird. Maybe it's reading your mind and feels like you really would prefer to be on the beach at Nice? But seriously, that's very strange. I'm assuming the obvious, that when you set it up, you selected UK as your home country....
