Yup, still can't find my phone on map with WiFi and GPS. Wife right next to me with Evo, daughter with Pre, GPS is just fine.

Anyone having issues?

Weird thing is the developers fixed the GPS with their custom roms but Samsung can't do the same. When I used a custom rom GPS worked perfect. I have yet to try it with the update.

Mine went from being terrible to being excellent. I get a lock within a few seconds, and it's quite accurate. Works with RunKeeper now, which is exactly what I was hoping for...

According to other posts the key is ensuring that GPS Status is running. Once that is started the GPS locks in a few seconds.

Just to be clear, mine's great without GPS Status running... Start an app like RunKeeper right after a reboot, and within 10 seconds or so it has a good lock.

I can confirm that procedure 3(GPS tool box from app store, download A-GPS data) fixed 2 of my coworkers epics GPS woes today. I didn't have the problem on mine on EB13, but i did on DK28 before I went to TER.

Mine has always worked before and after the update but after the update i get faster lock and its more accurate... You may have a prob with the antenna...

It's ashamed that this thing has such a sucky GPS. I have learned my lesson, no more Samsung junk for me, ever. These fixes did not work for me.

It does find a decent lock if I use wireless networks.

My fear is that I travel from Michigan to Texas a lot. A lot of that area doesn't have wireless network access.

What do I do then? I use my daughter's palm pre is what I had to do.

I am heading back to WebOS in June, I never had this much trouble with a GPS until I bought this sucky ass phone.

The problem with fix 4 is that I can't get a fix in the first place, unless I use the wireless networks, inorder to use fix 4.

A little info, when I turn the wireless networks off, at work, and at home, 2 things happen.

At work, I ALWAYS puts me on a street, about 2 miles away, in the EXACT same spot, EVERY time.

When I am at home, the GPS ALWAYS puts me on a street, about 2 miles away, in the EXACT same spot, EVERY time.

I do mean 100%. The GPS has never, ever worked. If I turn wireless networks on, it puts me on my front porch at home. Turn wireless netowrks off, it goes back to it's spot.

My GPS works amazingly well, actually. It's locked to as close as 1 meter indoors, although it's usually more like 3 or 4.

did you get to use any of this options?
and for future posting references people that keep posting in this threat that their GPS's are working wonderfully, do mention if you used any of this 4 fixes please.
Thank you!

I didn't do anything beyond upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2.1

My GPS was pretty good on 2.1, but not great as it would only have 30m accuracy. After the update to EB13, it locks on quickly and was accurate within 3m, so I am quite happy with the results, will like the more accurate numbers when using runkeeper.

None of the 4 fixes were used, just the update.
