Gps tasker issue

Im using the tasked application to try and set it up so that if I misplace my phone I can send a sms message from someone eldest phone to mine and it sends a google link with the location to my phone. I followed the instructions on the tasked silicon site and it keeps sending the variable %LOC to the google maps link. I need it to send the coordinates to the google maps site and then the sms back to the borrowed phone. Any help here is appreciated.
