GPS?

Hey all I picked up a N7 a few days ago from staples and so far I am loving it.

I have a question though.. does it have full GPS? My gps will never find my location unless I am driving while tethering to my RAZR maxx?

by the specs it is supposed to. Do you have the location services on? I know it is a dumb question but I have made mistakes like that

Yes. All location services are on.

I've used mine without a data connection and navigation worked fine.

If by "Full GPS" you mean it has all the (US?) maps pre-downloaded so you can use this as if it were a stand-alone GPS navigation unit, the answer is no.

You can download maps to make them available offline (via Google maps) and you can pre-plan a route while you're still on your WiFi connection but once you're off WiFi you can't plan new routes.
