Anyone know if GPS works better with the phone flipped one way or another? Screen up, screen down? I run with it in a special arm band for my phone and use iMapMyFitness. I just want to make sure I can get the strongest signal while running so my tracking is as accurate as possible.

it doesnt matter wht orientation the phone is in for GPS. It will work just as well in any position as long as it can see the satellites. So, as long as you run outside and you can see the sky it should be fine.

Use something like GPS Status to monitor the signal strength and try it both ways.
Report back with the answer.
I suspect it will be that there is no real difference.

Thanks guys. I have learned that I need to use Runstar first to locate the Sats. Then, use iMapMyFitness after that and I am good to go. For some reason iMapMyFitness seems to have a flaw obtaining proper Sat signal.

I use cardio trainer. I worked perfectly until the update. Now my GPS is gabage. It showes me several miles away from where I'm at. Junk now.
