Gray dot on Huawei watch face

Hello, everyone:

I recently got the Huawei watch and so far I am quite happy with it. When it finally gets the most recent upgrade, I'll finally be able to answer calls and speak directly into the watch, instead of pulling out the phone. My question is about a gray dot that sometimes appears just under the 12 o'clock position on the watch face. Does someone know what it means?

I've never seen that on mine. Although, I've never used that particular watch face.

Question: when you took the pic, did you have DND (i.e.: Do Not Disturb) enabled?

If so, possibly it wasn't being displayed properly and lower than it typically does on that face.

Thanks for the reply. I'm certain that I did not have the Do Not Disturb enabled, but cycling through to activate and then deactivate it made the dot disappear. With the DND activated, the dot turns into an open circle with a horizontal line through it. Weird.

That is weird. Don't know if you want to try resetting the watch, then re-pairing it to your phone; but it's an option to see if that will fix the issue permanently.

It seems to be a bug. If your watch loses connection to your phone, is that where the "no cloud connection" icon shows? Is it where the DnD icon shows if your phone is in DnD mode?

On mine (and it may be related to the face I'm using), I'll sometimes get an oval similar to your dot but at the 12 o'clock position. Switching faces seems to clear it, the location coincides with the 2 icons I mentioned previously and they both would have been displayed prior to my noticing it.

You can see it in this screenshot, so it's definitely not a hardware defect.

I've seen this too. If I enable dnd and then turn it back off, the dot disappears. I think it's just a bug since it looks just like the dnd icon but without the icon.

The dot appears immediately after I take the phone off the charger. It pairs with the phone without difficulty, and, yes, that is the same location as the "not connected" cloud icon. Like haus, I too can make the dot disappear by turning on the DND and immediately turning it back off. At least we can squash the "bug" by doing that. Thanks for all the replies thus far.
