Great phone, but one little problem

Hey everyone, i got myself a desire a couple of weeks ago, and its a cracking little phone.. but has anyone had any issues with the it suddenly crashing saying that certain processes have unexpectly stopped working..

for example the music app
and htc.launcher...

bit annoying considering ive only installed a handfull of apps from the droid marketplace..

any thoughts?

Not had this problem at all dude.

What apps have you installed?... uninstall.

Stupid question but... have you tried turning it off and on again?

Potentially dodgy memory, might be worth taking it back to the shop.

Reset to factory defaults.

Android 2.2 update may fix this when it's released

Wierdest thing, the phone packed in on me yesterday just stopped working all together.. took it back to the shop and they replaced it.. absolutly no idea what caused it. Maybe a rouge app, just going to have to be more carefull what apps i dl.. still the woman in the shop said they haven't had any back so at least i win the award for being the 1st.. points to me.

I think this points to a physical fault like droobilicious said. If your downloading Apps from the market and the user comments aren't full of messages about how the app crashed their phone, then it's pretty safe to assume it's not the app.
