I don't think it is Airpush, because I have installed an Airpush & maleare detector, and it isn't registering anything. However, this little green Lloyd android has popped up in my notifications bar twice now in the last week, each time pointing me to a different app in the Market (this time it is Free Mp3 Downloader). See attached screenshot.

I am running the Sense 3.0 leak from OpenMobile.

You could try "add-on detector" from the Market.

That's exactly what I'm using and it comes up with nothing.

Free Mp3 Downloader has been reported as a spamming applications and this is what it sound like you are having happen, try removing Free Mp3 Downloader and see if the icon goes away...

Lol....I don't have free mp3 downloader, but that's the app it wanted me to install.

Do you have an app installed that is from the same developer as Free Mp3 Downloader? Have you sideloaded any apps?

Hah! It's still not detecting anything. You mean to tell me that nobody else knows what this is, lol? Maddening!

You do realize that this is a app and you installed it so what is it that you expect a use to be able to figure out what you added to your device? If this is so much a issue why dont you start uninstalling apps or hard reset to wipe all apps from device?

Thanks for the laugh of the day...:D

Figure out roughly when you got this problem and uninstall whatever apps you installed around that date.

sadly the only way to figure this out is too start removing apps. first i might try flashing a different rom as that icon may be related to a system app that devs use to know how many people are using there roms im not positive but its worth a shot. also if your rooted you use TB to freeze the apps one by one until you find the one causing the icon. good luck

On the bright side it is cool looking! Please let us know when you discover the culprit!

I wanted to let you know that I figured out how to determine what this is. I was having the same problem and couldn't find the offending app either. Addons Detector didn't find it, AirPush didn't either (airpush had never failed me before). Finally I ran Addons when the Lloyd was in my notification bar, Viola! I ran it and then chose Notification Monitor and it showed me which app was spamming me. It only worked when I did it with the spam still in the notification bar.

The offending app was a Pinterst app, I uninstalled it and didn't write it down, now I can't find it in the market anymore.

I hope that helps anyone else who is getting this spam notification.
