Hello Androidcentral,

My step-sister's phone has an issue and I was wondering if anyone here has an idea what's wrong with it. After either being dropped in water or damaged from a car accident (I don't know which), her screen is now green-ish in color and you can see many pixels on the screen when it's turned on. Here are two pictures for clarification.

First Picture (after screen is just turned on):

Second Picture (after screen is left on for about 10 seconds):

Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong with it? I'm pretty tech-savvy with computers but phones... not so much. If it's somewhat easily repairable, I'd like to look up guides and try to do it myself. I'll be sure to check up on any answers/provide details after work tomorrow, thanks in advance. I can hear noise from the phone, LED still works, can turn it on/off manually, just can't see stuff because well, the screen.

Welcome to Android Central! It'd help to know more about the damage the phone sustained. Water damage can be pretty unpredictable--it might be more than just the screen that's damaged, but you won't be able to tell until you actually replace it. Same with impact trauma.
