Green/rainbow coloured ring around selfie camera cutout on S23+

Hi folks, have noticed randomly a green to rainbow coloured light around the front camera (selfie camera) cutout on my S23+.
It usually happens after I've been working out & running the fitbit app, as well as a music player, but can't seem to be able to replicate it on command.
It's been getting increasingly brighter every occurrence as well.
I do believe there are ways to use the led around the light as a notification, but I have not set that up at all.
Anybody else have this?

Not unless your edge lighting is somehow set up for your camera cutout and certain apps. Just a thought!

Do you have a screen protector? Could there be sweat buildup around the screen protector cutout after a workout causing some light distortion?
