When I go into my Samsung notes app and start a new note, the default is with gridlines, which I prefer. However, if I choose the "create note" shortcut from air command, there are no gridlines. Is there a way to have that default to including gridlines? Google has not been helpful on this

Google has nothing to do with Samsung, and Samsung Notes isn't part of Google's Android, it's something that Samsung added. Try asking Samsung.

Once you created the note, click the 3 dots and chose "Go to Samsung Notes". This will open the note in the main app and lines magically appear :)

Lol. He said he googled the answer. Not he called Google and expects the Google company to fix it.

I am honestly not sure whether this was a joke or if you misunderstood what I meant by google hasn't been helpful. (My apologies if it's the former)

That would defeat the entire purpose of the shortcut.
