Group message

I can not receive group messages even if I am in a group. I also don't have the option to enable group messages. The problem is on a Galaxy S7 edge.
I also have a Galaxy S7 and that one is fine.

Any problems receiving other MMS messages (i.e., texts with photos)?

No other issues.
Only one that I can not receive group messages. It separates me from the group. And when I reply it only goes to the sender and not the group.

Have you tried a 3rd party SMS/MMS app, just to see if it's possible with any app?

It works with another messaging app.

Is this a carrier-specific phone, or an unlocked international one? You've already looked in the Messaging app for the Group Conversation option described here (for the Sprint variant)? Messages Settings - Samsung Galaxy S7 edge User Guide

This is an unlocked S7 edge. I check the user guide. My phone does not have the group message option.

It might be a limitation of the stock Messaging app that came with that variant. You may just have to stick with the 3rd party SMS app you tried, if you want to do group messaging.

I was afraid of that. My wife seems ok with the third party app.
