Group MMS problem

Hey guys, Rs988 on verizon. My issue is I can't respond to an MMS group text that existed before I bought the phone. I think I have everything set right. Any advice would be appreciated.

Are you saying that you were in an MMS group text on your previous phone, and you can't access it on your new phone? Do you actually see that conversation in your messaging app, or is it not showing up, even if someone in the group sends a message? Does the phone have the same number as your previous phone?

Yes, it was. I think that is the issue because I am having no problems with new MMS.

I don't think existing SMS/MMS conversations port over to a new phone automatically -- you'd have to use an app like SMS Backup & Restore. What happens if someone in the group replies? Does the group text then show up?
