Group text after JB update?

My son has a Razor Maxx that recently got his JB update. He showed me how he has some groups of people created in the contacts app. He says he used to be able to select the group then select text and send a text to all of them. Neither he nor I can figure out how to do that under JB. There doesn't seem to be a way to do it either starting with the group contact in COntacts or starting from the text message app...you can search for the group name in the recipients field but it never finds it. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks.

For whatever reason, the JB update eliminated the ability to group text or group email from the People app. Try Contacts GroupU--works quite well.

Handcent lets you do groups. Very customizable too.

Yes, I noticed that as well, but group emailing works fine on JB.

This app does both. I'm just mentioning the group email part because that's what I use it for, and it may be useful for people to know that it works for both texting and email.

The Razor Maxx that recently did the JB update really messed up my phone. I can?t do any group texting or group emailing, along with issues. Is there an app that allows you to control your text / emails so that the group members will not see the other reply?. I need to control how messages come back to me, like I use to?
