Group Text Doesn't work

When people are in a group text thing in the original lg messaging app and the text it shows up like the person texted me not the group and every reply from anybody on a group chats is like that. So basically if say John replies in the group chat, for me it will show up as John texted me. Now If Sally replies to John for me it will show up like I got a text from Sally. And it look as if there is no group. Help please. My friends galaxy s5 doesnt have this problem

Open the Messaging app, tap Menu>Settings, and see if there are any group messaging options.

After 6.0 (MM) update, I also had issues with stock msg app. Switched to Textra: no problems since.

I don't like the look of textra. I want to keep it most stock as possible. Is there any way to downgrade to 5.0?

Sorry, I'm not sure what you meant by this. What options do you see? You might have to post some screenshots of the menu, since I don't have a G4 and therefore don't know how its messaging app's menu is specifically organized. I use Hangouts for my SMS/MMS, and in its settings, there's a switch for Group Messaging--I'm wondering if your app has something similar.

Hmm, I can't find anything that can help either. You may want to consider using a different app for your SMS/MMS, like Hangouts or Google Messenger.

I would use Google messenger but it looks so bad.
