Group text messaging on s5

I want to keep replies in group text messages private to me, not have others see replies to me.

Try Handcent Next SMS, free from the Play Store. It has, in Settings, a feature to send Group texts that are split as individual texts.

There is a check box at the bottom of the stock messaging app that breaks your sms to multiple people into individual messages, thus allowing them to reply just to you...

That's interesting. I'm using Textra but I didn't see that option. Did I miss it? Thanks for your reply.

The check box above where the message goes "Group Conversation". If you uncheck that, you basically send the same "individual" message to 10 people, but they send back to only you....
