Group texting not working on Xperia Z5 Compact

[AC Question]

Just upgraded from the Z3 Compact and group texting using Google Messenger doesn't work. A text sent to two people will go as an individual text to each of them instead of as a group conversation.

There aren't any settings in Messenger relating to this, and I can't find any phone settings that would cause this. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hi, if you go to settings within the Messenger app then advanced, you will notice group messaging options there.
