Hey guys,
Sorry to open up an old thread again but I think my phone has had it's time.
Got in bed last night, plugged my charger in and went on YouTube :'( ...............screen went a dark grey/blackish colour. I've never dropped the phone, never got it wet, no scratches or dents whatsoever. I've treated it like my first born child since I got it in 2012 and just before my contract ends the screen goes black?
So angry, all the sounds and notifications are working and I can see that the screen is on. The touchscreen works too as I was able to disable my alarm for work this morning.
From what I've read in the forums, I need a new phone right? I will book it in for a software reflash at my workplace but I'm not paying for a repair and I'm not replacing the screen myself, f*ck that.
I doubt I will be getting a Samsung ever again. After my last issue it ran well but I had to remove most of my apps + after a while It still had some lagging issues (Samsung bloatware crap that I cannot remove) and the battery is crap unless its in flight mode.
I was going to wait and see if a new Nexus was going to be announced but I can't go about my daily errands without a phone so I will have to get what has caught my eye recently, the LG G3.
Thanks for the help with the previous issue I had and I hope the same issue doesn't happen to anyone else, all that money down the drain.
Peace
EDIT: It's using stock software and has the latest package, I'm not brave enough to tamper with it.
