GS4 (4.3) Google search widget doesn't search email content, only email sender?

I have the Google search widget. I have the "email" box checked. Yet when I do a device search, nothing pops up if I type content in my emails. The only emails that pop up are when I do a search for the sender of an email. Please help. Thanks.

I want to do quick search for a couple words that are in an email and for the corresponding email to pop up.
