I just got the Samsung Galaxy s4. I'm new to the Android software.Id like to cut down on the battery drain. I'm losing about 1 percent every couple minutes while in standby mode. I have the brightness turned down and many location services disabled. Is there any other changes that can be made that I am unaware. I also clear ram and apps regularly. Your feedback is greatly appreciated

Same thing is happening to me. I think this is normal..

Go turn off 4g and that will help you don't need it on all the time. And when you need it turn in back on.

Download juice defender and activate agressive mode. You will notice the difference. This will turn off data when you lock the screen and turn on when you unlock it.

Thanks for the feedback. I went into settings>power save mode, and adjust the settings there. It made a huge difference. Also, pulling down the notifications bar> press the button that look like 4 boxes in top right, and turn off sync helps alot. Turn it back on when youre going to sync again. I can now get almost two days out of battery. Alot for this phone im assuming

I havent had any problems with my battery life so far.

Im a moderate user of.it just browsing web, social media (instagram, youtube etc, I take lots of pictures and I play some games here And there)

I have the brightness up on more than.half during the day. I use power saving mode at night when I sleep.
