[GS4 - GTI90505] - Chrome image downloads takes too long to appear in gallery

This issue is bothering me a lot. Every folder in the gallery app is updated instantly whenever I take a picture or download one from the facebook app, for example; Except for the ones I download via Chrome. I've tried downloading throug the native Samsung web browser and it also works instantly, the only issue seems to be when I download from Chrome.

Is there any way to solve this (by forcing a refresh, for example)? Or I should give up on Chrome?:'(

ps: My phone is already rooted and I'm using Nova Launcher.

I am getting the same issue, unfortunately the only way i can get the images to appear is by restarting the phone or toggle wifi/data connection.

Just uninstall the last update for chrome and that's all. will work perfectly
