GS4 seems to be running hot.

Every once in a while my s4 will get rather warm (not hot but it is enough to raise concern) has anyone else experienced this problem or know how to fix it?!

I have had my s4 for about a week and I have noticed it runs hot. My wife has also mentioned it. I don't know if its an issue or not, but I've had other phones that have run hot also and I've never had problems

These phones are thin and have ridiculously powerful processors all stacked up and squeezed next to each other along with a ton of sensors, memory chips etc... between a large battery and a huge FullHD display, they will run hot, especially when charging, using LTE or heavy graphics usage.

It's normal, but what isn't normal is if it heats while doing absolutely nothing, go to Settings -More tab -Battery, and see what's eating battery.

That's why Samsung designed the phone in such a way that only camera/upper region gets hot so that our hands which will be at bottom while holding the device won't be effected.

If you are using landscape position more , I recommend you to get a rubber case.

Alternatively turn on power save mode and that will curb CPU power thus reducing heat.
