GS6 active compatibility with gear vr

Hi, I was wondering if the gs6 active is compatible with the new gear vr. It says galaxy phones but does not specifically say if the active is included in this. I would love to be able to have it, if you know anything, please let me know. Thank you.

Does not look like it is supported. I would love a confirmation too. I suspect it does not physically fit into the slot for the phone.

I chatted with 2 different people at Samsung yesterday morning. They said they did not know the date, but they were positive that the VR would have a S6 active platform soon. For what it is worth. As you probably already know, the S6 active isn't supported.
