The title pretty well says it all, but since it sounds so wacky, I'll elaborate.

Galaxy S6 (personal), iPhone 5C (work), share a Plantronics Bluetooth earphone.

GS6 is sitting lonely on the desk but I have not launched PowerAmp. I am on a phone call on the iPhone, using the Plantronics earphone.

When I end the call on the iPhone, suddenly I can hear music playing through the earphone. I check on the GS6, and sure enough, PowerAmp is running, playing my music library.

Any ideas?
Thanks

No, it does not make sense if the plantronics supports dual connection. Of course it does, I said that in my original question.

What does not make sense is that the GS6 launcher is starting PowerAmp without reason.

well then its simple. the iphone is connected to plantronics as a phone device and the s6 is connected as a media device. the plantronics just does its job as in after the phone call ended it tells the media device that it is free to resume playing. the plantronics might not know/care that there are 2 physical devices and it just behaves like it is just one. also poweramp might be monitoring plantronics to see if its free to play and start automatically when it receives the "i am free to play" command from it.
