GS7 Texting Problems since update

So since the update my autocorrect has not been working nearly as well. I have checked to emsure(example...should be ensure) autocorrect, spelling, and spacing are turned on. It is extremely frustrating and very annoying considering I hardly ever had this problem prior to the update. My phone will leave words misspelled and not space between words like it should. It even happens to small words like "to" and will show tk. It does this is every text input mode (text, email, websites)

If anyone has any recommendations or tips it would be greatly appreciated.

Was the update to Android 7 (Nougat)? I would try switching from the Samsung keyboad to the Google keyboard.

Go to
Settings > General Management > Language and Input > Virtual Keyboard, then select GBoard. If you don't have it as an option, search the play store for Gboard.
