GS8 Powerbank Suggestions???

I had a portableSamsung Powerbank for my GS7 that had a built-in micro USB connector. Hopefully, Samsung will offer one soon. Any suggestions?

I would go with a 2 port USB charger. So many of these out there.


What size mAh are you looking for?

I have a Samsung portable Powerbank that has a usb plug in for any cord type. I've used it once so far charging the S8+ and it works well.

Samsung has a portable fast charger but I don't want to to carry a cable or adapter. Are there any wireless portable fast chargers? I have seen a few that are not fast charging.

I'll probably get this one for business travel. I really want a fast charging power bank that is pocketable and has a built-in cable. I may get the one that isn't fast charging.

For now, I ended up getting the Gorilla Gadgets regular wireless Powerbank. Pocketable no cables.

Currently charging the Gorilla Gadgets wireless power bank. It's as tall and wide as the GS8 but two or three times thicker. It's supposed to be good for two and a half wireless charges.

I've got the new fast charging Samsung power bank -- quite a nice little thing. You can get like four-inch cables -- I've got the power bank plus a four-inch cable in a very small plastic bag, and that works fine for me.

No wires.
Good for two and a half full charges.
Recharges with either a micro USB or USB-C cable.
USB connection for wired USB-C and micro USB charging.

Disadvantages of the Gorilla Gadgets wireless power bank.

Not very pocket friendly but still pocketable.
Not a fast charger.

Capacity isn't the biggest deal for me but I get 4-5 charges out of this with ease. What I really like about it is the portability.
