Gsam readings inaccurate

Notice my remaining numbers? Obviously those are no where near correct. Anyone else having that kind of issue? It's not all the time, just at random it seems, when I unplug the phone. Also this screen shot was taken while on battery power. Is it normal for GSam to read positive amperage on battery and negative amperage when charging? I also run Battery Monitor Widget and it reads positive when charging and negative when draining (the way I'd expect on any monitor app), and also seems more accurate. For instance, when fully charged and plugged in, GSam reads several hundred mA charge current, and BMW shows only a few.

It seems most people use GSam, so I'm wondering if it's glitched on my phone, or if this is normal for it.

I had something on my previous phone (Samsung G3) after I had gone through a lot of driving, where I repeatedly plugged in as SatNav, unplugged when finished
