GSM Galaxy Nexus simulatenous voice on network and Data on WIFI. Is this supported?

As the title suggests, I would like to know if the GSM Nexus supports data usage on WIFI while I am on a phone call on normal cellular network.
Whenever I am on a phone call, I cannot browse (or) access anything over WIFI through an app. Is this expected?
I get the message " There was a network error"

Note: If I turn off my WIFI, then I am able to access data over HSPA+ fine without any problems.

Any insight is appreciated!

You can make a call and use data at the same time if you're on 3G, HSPA+, or WiFi.

Interesting...I had the exact same problem on my Captivate...and now seeing it on the nexus.
What are the odds that two devices would exhibit the exact same problem!

Not sure. Its completely technically possible to do, so it has to be something up with your configuration or settings.
