GSM on the Razr.

It is unlocked with ICS. Technically you can cut down an AT&T sim or t-mobile Sim. I may try an AT&T when i go to work Tuesday. I wonder how well straight-talk service would work on it...

So when I go to Asia in December I can get a SIM card from an Asian service and use that?

Yes, once you have ICS on it. Might need to go in data settings and tell it GSM though

That's great. In addition to the old LTE/CDMA setting, I see two new settings under preferred network mode: Global and GSM/UMTS. I guess Global would fall under roaming on CDMA networks which would be the ripoff rates. I can't believe this phone was always a world phone. They better not take this feature back. Anybody know if 3G or 2G data networks would be supported in Asian countries?
