GTALK chat room showing random letters/numbers in place of name

not sure if this is a jellybean specific issue but this is happening for me and no1 else in the chat and i know 1 other person is using the same phone/jellybean (both of us are unrooted btw) and one other person is using the same phone on verizon (me and other using GSM galaxy nexus) actually someone just messaged me saying they had the same problem yesterday im leaning toward thinking its a connection issue because it will fade in and out anyone else experience this and/or narrow down the problem
