GTalk Not Signing In

Hey all -

Whenever I try to bring up GTalk for the past few days the application says I am signed in but no one else on my contact list is. On top of that, when I ask my friends if they are online they say that they are and that I am not signed in according to their gchat.

Anyone else see anything like this or have any ideas?

and here is another odd thing...

I can sign into gtalk on one of my other google accounts
