Yup. We would have known b/c it would have been an OTA. It's ok, we'll get that OTA in a few months

ok..mouze was trying to help me out.

I screwed my device up.
I am up and running and verizon updated it's software.
So now I have unlocked bootloader with 4.1.1 from verizon but lost root.
Can't use wugs because it says no fastboot device found.
I need help because I can't even enter the bootloader to flash su.zip. I get the red triangle with ! in the middle.

sniff sniff had to do this today for my Galaxy Nexus. Alas it did not survive the drop from my pocket to the ground in subway and had to be replaced. At least I have a shiny new Galaxy S3....

fastboot-windows ?w update image-mysid-jro03o.zip

then under it says
usage: fastboot []
and gives me a list of commands and options:

im sure its something obvious that im doing wrong , any help appreciated, thanks

I had that same exact problem and I was copying and pasting the command. When I typed it in, boom it went through. Strange.

I know it's a bit late, but that one must always be typed out manually, not copied and pasted.
