I am going to clear some things up that you guys may have misinterpreted.
1. Why are you here if you have an Evo?
A: Well, first of all, it is my job to moderate all of the forums on AndroidCentral along with the other admins and super mods in order to make the website a better place to be on. Finally, I need to say that I have an Epic to use every day. I used to have an Epic, but now a family member has it, so I can access it at pretty much any time in the afternoon. I've done basically everything with the Epic including OCing, ROM flashing, etc.
2. So even if you have to be here, why do you keep talking about the Evo?
A: I simply just like comparing devices and since I have already had the Epic, I like it to the Evo. There are also some false statements or uncertainties posted here about the Evo and I just want to clarify these points, so the thread does not look as biased towards the Epic. Why do I do this? Simple. I read a lot of hype about the Epic from reviewers and how it is better than the Evo in pretty much every form. I was dismayed to find out that the Epic was not for me and I had a hard time to switch back to the Evo (Sprint problems).
-My message here is to read both sides of the argument if you are choosing a phone and then follow what you think is correct. Both of these phones are so great, that it almost comes down to your needs. Unfortunately, both of the phones had things that I needed, but not one possessed all of them.
3. Why do you close threads having to do with the Epic?
A: The thread was either a duplicate or irrelevant to the phone. If you participated or saw the flaming against me this morning, then you saw that I closed a thread having to do with Epic positivity. I only closed this thread because we already have a stickied Pros and Cons thread for the Epic. It just happens by sheer coincidence that I countered some points against one of our members and I meant to say that it was all my opinion and it might have been taken the wrong way.
So to conclude, I'd like to say I'm a fan of the Epic and really don't mean to put an end to some positive aspects of the Epic. By trying to keep things neutral, it looks like I may have caused a misunderstanding in both the Evo and the Epic forums.
