Which case do you guys think I should get?
Case-mate Pop gray or Case-mate tough case?
I found some and price difference is like 20 cents so price is not an issue.

I had that Barely There case. I dont know about those huge bulky ones. But maybe I should get once since I already dropped my Infuse and cracked the glass. Ugh! Thanks for the Insurance, I now have an extra $130 on my bill :(

I decided to go with a gray Case-mate Pop just because of the color. I hate black on my phone. :p

I had a Body Glove which I liked but needed a holster. So I bought the Platinum at Best Buy, it came with a holster but the case was too slippery.

With the Body Glove on my phone I was able to use the holster from the Platinum. But even when I used the Platinum case, I had to use two hands to safetly put the phone in the holster. They should have added a lip on the holsters release so that you could push down instead of having to lift.

I just bought a Ballistic HC and love it. I can take my phone out or put it back in the holster with one hand. It comes with a two piece hard case. The front has a screen protector. Once snapped together it really doesn't feel too big.

I've dropped my Infuse as well as kicked it and no damage to the phone or the case. And it also comes with another outter case that's made of rubber, if you're really nervous and want the extra protection.

The holster with work with just the hard case, which is made out of rubber and plastic, or with the outter rubber case too.

I don't really want a holster, since my school would just make me take it off and might confiscate it (private schools suck)

The Case Mate Pop is one of my favorites, but, after two months, it's broken/ripped in the weaker sections like where the power, usb, and volume openings are. I would of liked to just leave it on but then I cannot use the desk top cradle or car mount. I've tried the Ballistic (too bulky) and now I use the Platinum from Best Buy. If you're only going to occasionally remove it from the case, go with the Case Mate Pop Grey. Good fit, good "sticky" feel to it. The rubber edge around the screen is nice. Good all around. My two cents.

I went with the Seidio Active & Hulster.

So far all is good.

I searched for a coupon and got 15% off.

I would recommend it to a friend

I went with the Case-Mate Tough. It has the soft case inside and the hard case on the outside. So far I love it and have had no issues. Got in on Amazon for half what I have seen it other places.

I'm using casemate pop white. the only problem I have with it is that it really takes away the thinness of the phone =|

Yeah, I have the same case and would agree with your comment. I am thinking of trying this one which was also recommending earlier in this thread:

Incipio Samsung Infuse 4G SILICRYLIC Hard Shell Case with Silicone Core, Samsung Infuse 4G Cases, Samsung Infuse 4G Soft Shell Case, Samsung Infuse 4G Hard Shell Case, Samsung Infuse 4G Carrying Case

I found it on Amazon (but sold by another vendor) for only $14. Might be worth it just to try it out. :)

To be out of the norm, I gave a relatively non name brand case a try and it blew me away. I bought the Ballistic HC case the same time I got my Infuse. Only because I wanted to preserve it, thinking I may return it. But quickly learning this phone is a keeper, I began my search for a case. A slimmer case for that matter because my friends kept joking with me about the Ballistic. "Hey, you forgot your mainframe" "Don't touch his hip, CLAYMORE!!!"

searched Amazon of course because I'm a prime member and found this
Amazon.com: Clear/ Solid Black Gummy Hard Protector Cover Case For Samsung Infuse 4G I997: Cell Phones & Accessories

immediately struck me because it said gummy hardcover in the title. How can it be gummy and hard? Then by observation it's the transparent backing that is hard plastic while the edges are flexible. I thought, that's different. And it's really slim. Saw another version of the case with the smoke transparency found here and purchased it .
Amazon.com: Samsung Infuse 4G Rear Cover Skin Case - Smoke Black Trims: Cell Phones & Accessories

Also, with tons of homework on screen protectors. Thinking of Zagg(previsouly on iPhone 3GS), Wrapsol, or SGP Ultra Crystal. I gave SGP a try because of reviews and keeping it closest to glass look as possible.
Amazon.com: SGP Samsung Infuse 4G SGH1997 Screen Protector Steinheil Ultra Series [Ultra Crystal]: Cell Phones & Accessories

I'm leaving some pics up on it. Love the hard back because it won't stick in my pocket and is seamless to the gummy side. love the gummy sides because it absorbs the impact if i drop it rather than crack, like a hard case. Also the gummy gives good grip to the phone when holding. It's easy to remove and install. And I esp love the SGP Ultra Crystal. Covers the whole screen with cutout for earpiece. Might I add, it works perfect with the case. The slightly raised edge on the glass doesn't mess with the SGP (i.e. bubbling edges) It does not reduce the front camera quality AT ALL compared to the ugly plastic protector on the Ballistic. Virtually no visible scratches since installing it 2 weeks ago. Just keeping it in pocket only. If you can't tell in the pics. Yes, it is on there. Full protection under normal use. This is what I'm currently rockin' and I finally let people/kids touch it. My friends thought my phone was unprotected at first, Haha!

edit* here's the main site to these. More colors as well.
Search results for: '"I997 (Infuse 4G)"'

I am a self-proclaimed case whore. I've tried most of the popular ones. Here's my favorite:

Samsung Infuse Silicone Case, Samsung Infuse Hard Shell Case, Samsung Infuse Carrying Cases, Samsung Infuse Premium Cases

The "silicrylic" one is REALLY good. It doesn't add too much bulk, and it protects the case really well. If you don't like this one, then I would go for the Case-Mate pop gray. Order off Amazon for a cheaper price!

If a man posted this, I could understand. But a girl posting shes a "self-proclaimed case whore" just doesnt sit well with me. Please never refer to yourself like that again.........Please? lol!

:D

Im also gonna get that holster. I think its a little cheaper on ebay though :)

I do own a TPU case, this one
For Samsung Infuse 4G BLACK GEL TPU CASE COVER Hybrid G | eBay

I didn't really like it. The lock button was pretty hard to press, and for some reason the screen would get really dusty (that didn't happen when i was caseless and it doesn't happen with the pop)

I would say the Incipio. They really stand by their products and are quick to make things right with their customers. When I had an iPhone and they re-released the cases due to the flash issues, they sent me another one overnight for free. Also, I had a screen protector issue and they had released a new version and again they sent me more free overnight. Great company.

+1 for SGP screen protectors. They are awesome.

I'm currently using the Best Buy branded Innocase with belt clip. I had to get something on the phone. Probably won't be what I stick with, though.
