gyroscope calibrate option not available

I previously had no problem with automatic screen rotate, but now it does not work. Maybe due to a S4 software update.
Under Settings, display, screen, I have ticked auto rotate.

Note that Under Settings, Input and Control, Motions and gestures , I do not see "gyroscope calibration option", so route cause may be gyroscope not functioning.

Yup, just checked and mine is gone too after the update.... What gives?!

Dial *#0*# a then press sensors tab then test each sensor light and others also the gyroscope note the phone should be on a flat place
after that restart your phone
