H+ Checkmark?

i'm pretty sure it means the mobile network is ready to access but not being used at the moment.
i get the check mark when i have wifi on and turn off my mobile network.

H+(Check mark) indicates that HSPA+ is available, but is not currently being used for data since it is being preempted by WiFi.

actually the check mark comes on as long as you've turned the mobile data connection off regardless of being connected or not connected to wifi
