Actually was a small glitch. It had worked perfect from day one. Great battery life, relatively fast on the web, and excellent camera. I picked it up off the table & would not recognize finger print or pattern. I tried several times - nothing. I decided to just reboot as a first step. That worked! I will probably clear system cache soon (when I feel like).

This is also a good reminder to make sure all of your important data is backed up or synced somewhere. If the phone bricks, it'll be without much warning -- that's what happened to the one I had a couple of years ago.

Backup is VERY important. Fortunately I have Google Fiber so almost everything important is auto synced between computer, phone & tablets.
